NDIS
National Disability Insurance Scheme
NDIS is for eligible Australians who were either born with or acquire a permanent and significant disability. A ‘permanent disability’ means a person’s disability is likely to be lifelong. A ‘significant disability’ means a disability with a large impact on a person’s ability to complete everyday activities.

NDIS funds reasonable and necessary support and services that relate to a person’s disability to help them achieve their goals. The support is most appropriately funded or provided through NDIS and service needs are directly related to their disability.

If you are between the ages of 7 to 64 years of age, you can call the Local Area Coordinator in your local government area or find them on the NDIS website.

If you are a parent of a child under 7 years of age with developmental delay or disability, you can contact Early Childhood partners who will help you navigate and access support early to give you and your family the right support at the right time.

Once you meet the eligibility criteria, you become a NDIS participant and receive funding to work towards the goals in your NDIS plan that are specific to you. You will be provided with an individual NDIS plan; your service provider will support you to pursue your goal.

Deivian Care Services are a registered NDIS service provider and are well-equipped both in terms of knowledge and skills to provide quality services that represent value for participant’s funded support. We create positive participation experience by delivering services in a professional, competent, and efficient manner. Our goal is to meet participants’ unique support needs while empowering them to achieve independence and social inclusion.
